Cake Serving Chart

While traditional (triangular) slices are more generous portions; when serving guests, it is highly recommended to serve event slices to maximize the amount of servings. For party cakes, servings are usually 2"x2" squares. For weddings, servings are usually 1"x2" squares.

 

Cake Care Instructions

Keeping your cake's (and cupcakes) quality please follow these directions and tips.

  1. Pickup and carry the cake box from the bottom only. Do not push the top of the cake box down!!! 
  2. Keep the cake leveled at all times including transport and refrigeration.
  3. Transporting the cake: Make sure your vehicle is cool/ air-conditioned. Keep away from loose objects. The best place to store your cake while driving, is on the passenger floor. Be mindful of your speed, sudden stops, etc. to avoid mishaps.
  4. Temperature Safety: Keep refrigerated and away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. 
  5. Serve cake at room temp. Remove cake from the fridge 1-2 hours before serving/ consuming.
  6. Displaying your cake: Use a sturdy cake stand at least an inch or more larger than the cake board.
  7. Do not smash anyone's face in the cake unless it's a "Smash Cake".
  8. Remove non-edible items before cutting the cake. Be mindful of wooden/ plastic dowels within most custom cakes for structuring purposes. 
  9. To ensure freshness: Leftover cake should be stored in an airtight container and placed in the fridge. Before consuming leftover cake, let it reach room temp.
